WHAT SHAPE ARE YOU IN?

The date is August 18th 2020 and the question is, “ What shape are you in?”

Of course, for many of us, this question will resonate with feelings of guilt for not working out enough during the covid-19 pandemic and gaining unnecessary weight from stress eating.

More important, the question asks us to consider the status of our mental and emotional health.

I do not want to diminish and disrespect the pain, loss and suffering that a majority of us have had to endure over the past 5 months. It has been devastating to lose loved ones and livelihoods. It has been catastrophic to lose work and school opportunities as well as losing the moments of special life event transitions.

However, I think one of the most critical disasters of the covid-19 lockdown has been the shut down of one’s ability to commence a Journey.

Certainly, travel has been hindered and visiting friends and family has been hampered, but I am focusing on the personal journey.

The covid-19 pandemic and lockdown has played havoc with marriages and the already strained dynamics between husband’s and wives. The decision to start the Journey of Divorce requires a commitment to embark…a resoluteness to take a step forward and move somewhere different than where you are now.

What is needed is a purposefulness…an unwavering firmness of action and will to take the summit trail. It is the presence of personal determination and will power which will take you over the high peaks and through the low valleys of divorce mediation.

We are here today to assure you that we are on firm, sound and solid footing in our continued commitment to assist, guide and support our clients in their quest to arrive at a fair and respectful mediated divorce.

Mediate for Life Divorce and Family Dispute Center did not originate the concept of mediation. But, the mediators of Mediate for Life have made a life long commitment to be the caretakers of this wonderful and exceptional idea that came before. We have honed our skills through our professional experiences in the practice of Law and Social Work so that we can now provide our clients with the environment and tools to pursue their personal quest of self reflection, in light of divorce and the collective mission of the couple to do the right thing.

Your shape, whether it be round or square or oblong or triangular matters not to us. We can work with any shape you may morph into.

Mediate for Life is OPEN and has been helping client’s throughout the cover-19 pandemic via On Line TeleMediation. Contact us for any inquiries today.
