IF YOU ARE IN A DISPUTE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER...MEDIATE THAT DISPUTE.

It will be two years since our first blog entry. In the beginning we introduced our vision to “reframe divorce.” It only took twenty - one months to realize that though, in our ‘minds eye’, we were seeing things clearly, our blog and mission statement were not being viewed with 20/20 vision.

Our unyielding belief…our endless motivation…our constant and consistent determination is based upon the belief that the crux of all inter personal stress and conflict is a result of a personal dispute that has not been properly addressed.

As we age and navigate our family upbringing; our interactions with siblings, parents and relatives, we learn lessons that inform how we will confront our adult life. Mediate for Life, has, over the past years highlighted Divorce as a prime example of how mediation can be useful and successful in addressing disputes in a spousal relationship.

The reality is that the dynamic, in all family relationships, whether it be with siblings, parents, relatives, children and/or ex’s, that needs attention and support and compassion and understanding, is Dispute Resolution.

That is what we do. That is why we are Mediate for Life. Your better life. A more sustainable and healthy life for you, in your life.

One thing that is for certain: No matter what your belief system, life can be hard and one can find in difficult times their coping ability is severely diminished when facing personal adversity. People of all faiths and persuasions have found strength and insight through the concept of Chakras, a main tenet in Buddhism.

Chakras are the circular vortexes of energy that are placed in 7 different points on the spinal column. All seven chakras are connected to the various organs and glands within the body.

The !st chakra is the Root chakra. The 2d chakra is the Sacral chakra. The 3d chakra is the Solar Plexus chakra. The 4th chakra is the Heart chakra. The 5th chakra is the Throat chakra. The 6th chakra is the Third Eye chakra. And the 7th chakra is the Crown chakra. The sixth chakra, our ‘third eye “ is often times referred to as one’s source for intuition.

Even if you do not relate to these particular teachings or philosophy, it is extremely probable that you practice, unintentionally or subconsciously some form of insight, intuition or sixth sense that enables you to know or feel something not visible to the naked eye and often times has not yet come to fruition.

All too often, our clients worry about their future. How will they know what to do? What will they need? How can they know what they want? The act of making a decision is complicated; anxiety producing; nuanced and layered with fear and risk. It can also be exciting, hopeful and grounding in that it leads one to being able to make a life decision.

If you have a Dispute with your spouse or a family member you need you need to work that dispute out. You need to Mediate that out. You need Mediate for Life.
